Ipsogen
is a cancer profiler that develops and markets molecular diagnostic
tests designed to map diseases in order to guide patient’s
and oncologist’s decision along their complex therapeutic
path. Ipsogen has developed more than 60 molecular diagnostic
tests which are used in the diagnosis of leukemia and on breast
cancer. Molecular diagnostics, based on knowledge of the pathways
involved in cancer initiation and development, now have the
potential to classify the disease, measure its degree of aggressiveness
and indicate which drug should preferably be used and can also
be used during follow up to monitor the effectiveness of the
treatment. To establish each tumor’s molecular identity,
Ipsogen directly analyzes markers that signal genetic alterations
at the origin of the disease, delivering unrivalled sensitivity
and reliability.
